Hoy en día la educación a distancia además de una nueva forma de enseñanza es una aproximación a los modos de producción simbólica, generando un salto importante para superar el paradigma educativo escuela/fábrica del que habla Sir Ken Robinson; al hablar sobre la mayoría de los sistemas educativos en el mundo, menciona están desfasados, son anacrónicos, están basados en un sistema de producción fabril, donde se buscaba la estandarización de los productos, todos iguales, por medio de la entrada de diferentes elementos de materia prima hacia la salida de productos de la misma característica que satisfacen un mercado no muy variado, esta similitud escuela/fábrica se puede observar con los elementos que se comparten entre ellos: timbre, formación en filas, paso de grado de acuerdo a la edad como en cadena de montaje y sobre todo el encontrar alumnos de diferentes características a los que se les enseña lo mismo e igual, con la idea de que todos al final salgan con los mismos conocimientos para un mercado laboral que así los requiere.Downloads
