Programa de vinculación con padres de familia

En el Plan de Desarrollo Institucional 2008-2012 de la Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco (UJAT), especifica que no puede valorarse la calidad en la formación de los estudiantes, solo por los resultados en la esfera de lo cognitivo, sin comprender todas las dimensiones humanas (2008, p. 55), razón por la cual se han implementado una serie de estrategias encaminadas a fortalecer la permanencia, egreso y titulación de los aspirantes aceptados como estudiantes en esta máxima casa de estudios; siendo la vinculación con Padres de familia, una actividad que ha venido incrementandose notablemente en cada una de las Divisiones Académicas, para dicho fin.
En el caso de la División Académica de Ciencias Económico Administrativas (DACEA), el 30 de julio del 2008, se inició formalmente con el programa de vinculación con padres de familia, cuya finalidad es compartir con ellos información acerca del funcionamiento del sistema educativo universitario de nuestra Alma Mater, pretendiendo hacer partícipe al padre de familia de las bondades del modelo educativo y la institución, la necesidad de establecer una comunicación más lineal con los gestores, tutores y profesores de su hijos; y eventualmente hacerles notar su co-responsabilidad en los apoyos que requieren los jóvenes para lograr mejores resultados académicos.
