ABSTRACT: Objective: Derived from the theory of agency and trust create an index that measures the transparency for the trust that businesses are transmitting through Internet. Material and method: Once created, the index is analyzed empirically using multivariate statistical techniques. Results: The obtained findings characterize the firms that are more transparent on Internet. The information of the companies not only reduces the risk on investments but also reduces the asymmetries of information and increases the transparency of the corporation in front of the stakeholders. Conclusions: It is confirmed that the companies that develop a suitable electronic governance model, provide more transparency to the market and to the third people involved, in contrast to those who don’t. Well now, it is also known that not all the companies are doing the same thing, Therefore, the transparency level for the existing trust to the firms is different.Downloads
