RESUMEN Este trabajo presenta una investigación teórica de las repercusiones que ha tenido la globalización en la educación superior. Para ello se expone en primer lugar el concepto de globalización, en segundo lugar se dan a conocer autores que resaltan la importancia de identificar el carácter multidimensional de la globalización, posteriormente se explican diversos puntos de vista de autores que han estudiado el tema y la postura asumida por ellos, unos desde la perspectiva neoliberal y otros que no comulgan con esta idea. Finalmente se concluye con un análisis de los criterios expuestos por los autores estudiados. ABSTRACT This paper is a theoretical review about the impact that globalization has had on higher education. First the concept of globalization is exposed; then, the name of authors that emphasize the importance of identifying the multidimensional nature of globalization are given; afterwards, several points of view from authors who have studied this topic and the position assumed by them are explained, some of them from a neo-liberal perspective, and others who do not share this idea. Finally, the study concludes with an analysis of the given criteria by the authors studied.Downloads
