ABSTRACT Objective: Describe the work motivation of the administrative staff from 2 academic divisions of the Universidad Juarez Autonoma de Tabasco. Material and methods: The design of the study was non experimental, transectional. The study population was made up of the administrative areas from two academic divisions of the Universidad Juarez Autonoma de Tabasco. To gather the information, a questionnaire of own elaboration was used. This instrument had 4 dimensions distributed in 20 items. 5 general items out of which 3 correspond to socio-demographic variables, such as: marital status, age, and gender; 2 related to information of the institution where the study was done, such as: permanence in the institution and work area. Results: It was found a positive average correlation between the economic incentive and the personal fulfillment, and this reveals that the more the economic incentive is, the more the personal fulfillment is reached. A moderate correlation between the personal fulfillment and the life stability is also reported. An homogeneous population evidence is shown even though the two academic divisions are different, and the results don’t show any meaningful differences. Conclusions: In general, it is concluded that the main motivational factors after the economical incentive are the life stability and the interpersonal relationships.Downloads
