HOMO VIDENS. LA SOCIEDAD TELEDIRIGIDA
Abstract
Hoy mas que nunca, estamos viviendo una revolución multimedia, donde el internet y el ciberespacio son tan comunes, que es imposible concebir al mundo sin la presencia de estos elementos, existiendo una constante como dice el autor el video-vivir, centrándose con la presencia omnipotente de la televisión que ha desplazado a la cultura escrita y transformado profundamente al homo sapiens en un homo videns. El hombre que aprende casi exclusivamente a través de la imagen, destronando así la palabra escrita, empobreciendo el poder cognoscitivo de los hombres. Para el autor, su tesis es inequívoca al plasmar más convencido que nunca nos encontramos en un momento evolutivo de mutación genética.
