El ensayo pretende establecer desde una perspectiva de cultura laboral y educativa, una reflexión de la importancia que tienen las Instituciones de Educación
Superior en la formación de profesionistas, bajo criterios de calidad en un contexto de globalización; en el cual los mercados laborales ya han establecido los
lineamientos de demanda, incluyendo al capital humano que requieren para sus empresas, obligando así, que las universidades implementen mecanismos emergentes a pesar de las diversas dificultades que subyacen cotidianamente en su accionar como organismo generador del conocimiento.
La sociedad está situada en una vorágine de transformaciones, donde convergen múltiples organismos empresariales, en ellos, se ha instituido como prioridad elevar la productividad a través de la calidad, hecho que induce a una cavilación de las diversas situaciones, en donde confluyen las universidades y la preocupación de éstas por transformarse.
