ANÁLISIS DE LA PROBLEMÁTICA DE ABASTECIMIENTO DE INSUMOS A LA INDUSTRIA MAQUILADORA EN LA REGIÓN NORTE DE COAHUILA

En el año 2005 la industria maquiladora consumió un total de 46’386,191 miles de pesos en insumos de los cuales solamente 1’321,811 miles de pesos fueron
insumos nacionales (INEGI, 2006), esto representa el 2.8 por ciento. En la región Norte del Estado de Coahuila se encuentran ubicadas el 41.85 por ciento de las
empresas maquiladoras del estado de Coahuila, que representan la actividad económica del 57.46 por ciento de la población. El trabajo presenta un análisis para el encadenamiento de proveedores nacionales a la empresa maquiladora como estrategia para el desarrollo de la región.
