POSIBILIDADES DE CONSOLIDACIÓN Y CRECIMIENTO DE LOS CUERPOS ACADÉMICOS EN LA DIVISIÓN ACADÉMICA DE CIENCIAS ECONÓMICO ADMINISTRATIVAS DE LA UNIVERSIDAD JUÁREZ AUTÓNOMA DE TABASCO

Objetivo: Determinar los elementos que inhiben el crecimiento y consolidación de los cuerpos académicos de la División de Ciencias Económico Administrativas a partir de los requerimientos establecidos por las Reglas de Operación del programa de mejoramiento al profesorado PROMEP, programa operado por la Secretaría de Educación Pública en México.
Material y método: El diseño de la investigación fue no experimental, descriptivo transversal. La Población de estudio se conformó por los 42 profesores de tiempo completo que pertenecían a los cuerpos académicos, a los que por medio de un cuestionario se trato de realizar un censo, pero solo 22 de ellos los respondieron. En una segunda etapa se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a los directivos de la institución a nivel central y divisional para conocer las condiciones y políticas de desarrollo vigentes diseñadas para lograr las metas del programa.
Resultados: Se presentan como factores limitantes, la antigüedad y edad de los profesores que no visualizan como rentable la inversión de tiempo en estas labores y la incomprensión de las reglas de operación del programa.
Conclusiones: La posibilidad de consolidación es reducida en este momento, debido a que más del 50% de los profesores en cuerpos académicos, solo realizan de manera permanente 2 de las 4 actividades que señala el PROMEP para alcanzar el perfil deseable, requisito indispensable para la consolidación del equipo de trabajo. Se sugieren estrategias de reestructuración, capacitación y apoyo en la difusión de resultados.
