El presente artículo se divide en tres apartados. En el primero se realiza una aproximación teórica a los conceptos básicos del aprendizaje organizacional (AO),
haciendo énfasis en la manera en que intervienen en él los factores organizacionales e individuales. En este punto se destacan los problemas de actitud y de
aplicación tecnológica como barreras de aprendizaje. En el segundo apartado, se presenta un breve panorama de la situación actual de las PYMES en México.
Finalmente, en el tercer apartado, se analiza la manera en que influyen las barreras defensivas de actitud y tecnológicas en el aprendizaje organizacional de las
PYMES. Se concluye que estos factores dificultan a las PYMES en nuestro país, tener la capacidad de generar y aplicar el conocimiento desarrollado por sus
trabajadores.
