En la actualidad, la sociedad se encuentra viviendo etapas de grandes cambios de tipo económico, político y social y es la economía fundamentada en el conocimiento lo que ha originado que empiece a existir la iniciativa de la Ciudad de Conocimiento, la cual consiste en un espacio geográfico en donde, de acuerdo a un plan y una estrategia que asumen tanto sociedad, universidad y gobierno, las personas tienen el propósito común de construir una economía basada en el desarrollo del conocimiento, la cual se basa tres elementos importantes: desarrollo cultural, social y económico, para que así pueda consolidarse el conocimiento sustentable, toda vez que sus habitantes son creativos y poseen instrumentos para hacer accesible el conocimiento a todos los niveles de la sociedad; así mismo, cada espacio y recursos, son considerados una oportunidad para el desarrollo del conocimiento y la innovación tecnológica, ya que la clave está en el capital humano. La riqueza de las naciones se genera por el conocimiento, lo que repercute en las nuevas tecnologías, por eso es tan importante la capacitación continua.Downloads
